Safety Coordinator of a region in Johannesburg,South Africa,Warrant Officer Jan Esterhuysen has confirmed that five lions, one large and four small ones have escaped a zoo on Saturday. It would have none of our business here in Nigeria but
quite a large number of Nigerians reside in Fochville where the lions were said to have been seen last.Meanwhile, vice chairman of Nigerian union in the area,Mr Owoyele has sounded a note of warning to Nigerians in the area, asking them to stay safe.In statement reads;“We have a sizeable Nigerian population in the area. We advise that for now, they should stay away from farms, parks and bush because the predators could be hiding there.“We also call on our people to be cautious of their movements in the night, especially in lonely areas because the lions have been sighted feeding on a cow in a farm,”
