WhatsApp has just adde a new feature to the popular app, “Deleting messages for everyone" which would come as a relief to many users. This feature allows users to delete messages sent out to the wrong recipient or chat group. Read a note from the messaging provider;
"To go about it,
Open WhatsApp and go to the chat containing the message you wish to delete.
Tap and hold the message. Optionally, tap more messages to delete multiple messages at once.
Tap Delete at the top of the screen > Delete for everyone.
However, WhatsApp notes that in order for this to work, both the sender and the recipient must be using the latest version of WhatsApp for Android, iPhone or Windows Phone.
The service provider also noted that a sender can only delete messages for everyone within seven minutes of sending. Once seven minutes have lapsed, there is no way to delete messages “for everyone”.
