The highly expected Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA held on Saturday, the 1st of September at Eko Hotels and Suites and it was not devoid of the usual controversies and thrills that go with notable events in the country.
One of the celebrities that courted the most attentions at the night was former Big Brother Naija housemate Bambam, whose feathered dress seemed to be the most outrageous at the event.
Some of her critics described her dress as a failed attempt at copying Lady Gaga’s feathered dress at the Venice Film Festival but that is far from it.
She said the inspiration behind the dress while at the same time stressing that @houseofjahdara_ cut off the top layer of her dress and creatively used the bottom.
She had earlier taken to Instagram to appreciate the unique dress and even mentioned that it is a work of art and doesn’t have to look pleasing to everyone that sees it.
Just as Bambam tried to defend her inclusion in the worst dressed celebrities list at the AMVCA, so did another ex-housemate, Tboss also attempted to defend her dress, whom a lot of fans considered so poorly made.
Her fans and followers bashed the stylist and the designer for making the 34 year old lady look like an old woman draped in heavy curtains.
