Court Dismisses Case Against Fatoyinbo, Fines Busola Dakolo N1m As Wale Jana & Tonto Dikeh React.

Outrage as court throws out Busola Dakolo

The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Court 12, sitting at Bwari, Abuja has dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo against the pastor/founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Earlier this year, Busola Dakolo accused Biodun Fatoyinbo of raping her twice when she was a teenager going to his church. Notwithstanding, Biodun Fatoyinbo denied this as well as different allegations that came a while later.

Busola later went the legal route by filing a suit against Fatoyinbo. Biodun Fatoyinbo's team of lawyers, led by Dr. Alex Izinyon (SAN), contended that the petitions in the suit were ungrantable by the court and that the suit was silly and a maltreatment of court process.

Justice Oathman A. Musa, while giving judgment looking into it, said that the issue adds up to injustice and an abuse of legal procedure. He include that the case is vacant and purely sentimental. Justice Musa said that the case was pointed more at cruelty than obtaining justice.

The court additionally granted of N1,000,000 against Busola Dakolo and held that he ought to have fined her ten times more because the court’s time was wasted.

In reaction to the dismissal of the case, Tonto Dikeh and businessman Wale Jana,who are members of Fatoyinbo's church rejoiced as the High Court, Abuja, dismissed the rape case Busola Dakolo, wife of singer Timi Dakolo, filed against Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo.
