Comic actor Olatayo Amokede popularly known as Ijebu and the whole family of Amokade in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State have picked 3 days in February 2020 for the burial of his father, PA Kolawole Amokade otherwise knowns Ba Funbi, who died in November 19th 2019 at age 93.
According to inside source, the 3 days occasion will begin on 20th February with service of songs at his house. The 21th is for his wake keep while 22nd is made for his final burial. The ASO EBI for the occasion is currently selling for 7k and you can either get yours from his wife or Kemi Korede.
According to him, “it is rather unfortunate that I lost my dad at this moment. Regardless how old he is maybe, nobody pray to lose his or her relatives. My father died at age 93 in his sleep. He was at his home in Aiyegbami Street, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State. He slept and he did wake up to say bye to us before he joined his ancestors.He wasn’t sick; his death will be ascribed to old age. His passing on is really painful to me in particular because I am going to miss him as a father, I will likewise miss his advice and the words of encouragement from him. Thank God I still have my mother and I will do everything within my power to take good care of her. The family had a meeting and we have all agreed to bury him in February 2020”.
