Ex Governor Of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi Rumoured Is Still Alive But In Critical Condition.

The ex governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, who was recently appointed as the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Commitee of the party was rumoured to be dead from the complications of Coronavirus. 

The ex governor became ill after testing positive to Coronavirus and was alleged to be in a critical condition.

Ajimobi ruled Oyo State for eight years before he was appointed by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC.

He was a previous Managing director at the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum Company.

However, according to Punch newspaper, he is still alive but his health is worsened.

“I spoke with those around him not long ago and they confirmed to me that he is still alive. Please disregard news of his death as fake news,” Tunji told The PUNCH.
