Sanyeri’s Reveals How He Met And Married His Canada Based Wife Says 'She Married Him When He Had Nothing'.

Olaniyi Afonja popularly called Sanyeri, is a well known Yoruba actor from Oyo State. He had his primary education at St. Michael ans later went on to study at Durbar grammar school both in Oyo state.

In spite the fact that there is actually no record of the comic on-screen character going to a higher institution of learning, rather he joined theatre groups and began acting stage play in his state in the early 90s and he did that for 3 years before proceeding to Lagos in 1996.

Sanyeri proceeded with his acting in Lagos and soon he turned into an easily recognized name most particularly for his film “Opa kan” which was a massive hit.

Sanyeri met his spouse Hawau Omolara Afonja in 2004. At first the woman had gone to the National theatre to watch Sanyeri’s first movie “Eni Okan” which was showing that day.

He met with her and in spite of the fact that she didn't generally gave him the greenlight, he was able to convince her by collecting her mum’s phone number.

Sanyeri called her however the mum would not let her daughter speak to Sanyeri due to the daughter who did not want to speak to him. After some consistent pestering, the mother convinced the daughter and their romantic tale started.

The couple got married in the traditional way in 2007 due to lack of finances that time of their marriage the young woman was alreadly pregnant with their first son however regardless of Sanyeri not being popular as at that time, and in spite of his absence of money the young woman remained by him and married him.

Sanyeri currently live and work in Nigeria as an actor and movie producer, while his wife and two children are currently living in Canada.
