Funke Akindele Gifts Comic Actor, Pa James Ajirebi A New House After Flood Took Over His Home.

Popular actress, Funke Akindele, a.k.a Jenifa gave a brand new home to veteran and comic actor, Kayode Olasehinde Ajirebi better known as Pa James.

Ajirebi's house located in Oke Isagun community, Oke-Odo LGA was taken over by flood. It was said to be a canal which overflowed into his compound and destroyed a lot of property.

Nollywood actrees, Kemi Korede took to her IG page to announce the kind gesture and thank Funke Akindele on behalf of Pa James;

 “On behalf of PA JAMES, I Want to say Big thank you to @funkejenifaakindele for the new apartment given to him by you. God bless you so much for your good heart. your type is so rare..you are a gem. Almighty God will continue to make way for you where there seems to be no way.” she wrote.

 However, Funke instructed her to delete the post, she does not like to be praised for helping people but help people silently,

Kemi Korede also thanked those who also helped the actor, she said; “To all that had supported pa James we say a big thank you…Our colleagues that came all out to help we say thank you and God bless you all”

Earlier, Pa James' son, Samuel Ajirebi, cried out as he shared photos of the horrible situation of his father's home.

“Seriously sad right now, I get to think at times that, are we sure we have a government in this country?

“Look at what I met on going to visit my family today, a flooded house due to the overflowing canal behind our street.

“To make matters worse, no one was at home save my dad, so the old man and I had to be saving properties and scooping water out of the house!

“This year makes it ten years of the repeated and consistent occurrence of this with severe damages done annually to properties, at times leading to temporary displacement!

“Letters have been written, appearances made, press releases written, still no significant step was taken by the government to channel the overrunning canal. “We need governmental intervention in Oke Isagun Community of Oke Odo LGA.

‘’We lose properties! We lose rest whenever we see rain signs! Tonight is going to be a partial prayer moment for families because it must not rain tonight…. No house for us to sleep in anymore!

“This is sad and heartbreaking”. he wrote.
