The Federal Government has announced after much speculation that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will now conduct exams for graduating students from the 4th of August till September 5.
Emeka Nwajuiba, the Minister of State for Education, made the statement at the Presidential Task Force briefing on COVID-19 on Monday.
He said the country's local timings will be made public as stakeholders meet with the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Nigeria Teachers Union (NUT) on Tuesday ascertained.
He also urged parents and guardians to guarantee that their ward were registered for the National Examination Council (NECO) exams currently in progress.
He said the dates would be announced soon for the National Board of Business and Technical Education (NABTEB), and NECO exams.
