Sunday Adeyemo, a prominent Yoruba activist popularly known as Sunday Igboho, was ordered to be arrested by Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu for the exit notice he provided to herders in the state of Oyo.
According to BBC Hausa, Presidential Speaker Garba Shehu confirmed the arrest order on Friday during his broadcast.
Shehu said Oyo Police Commissioner Ngozi Onadeko was ordered by the IGP to arrest Igboho and move him to Abuja.
