Agbelese Olamikekan, popularly known as Laycon, winner of Big Brother Naija 2020 Lockdown season was honored as the Akeweje of the Ipokia kingdom in Ogun State.
On Sunday, Laycon received the traditional title from Ipokia's Onipokia, Oba Yisa Adesola Olaniyan, at the 2021 Opo Day celebration held at Ipokia's District High School.
During the ceremony, the Onipokia said that Laycon, as an Ipokia native, truly deserved the title of Akeweje.
The rapidly growing singer was described by Oba Olaniyan as a good ambassador in Ipokia and a positive inspiration for all Nigerian youth.
Oba further praised Laycon in the first class, praying that he will continue to rise and shine.
