After her son, Mayorkun was named as the winner of the 14th Headies Award as the best street-pop, Veteran Nollywood actress, Toyin Adewale took to her official Instagram page to celebrate.
She is grateful to God for having her son win the award, according to the proud mum, and she is very proud of him.

Remember that the organizers of the 14th edition of the Headies Award on social media were called out by Nigerian rapper CDQ Olowo a few hours after Mayorkun got the award.
In a Twitter post, the rapper said that it is clear that the awards are being politicized now. He asked why, instead of Naira Marley, Mayorkun was given the Best Street Hip category.
