The ex-husband of actress Mercy Aigbe, Lanre Gentry, has refuted claims that Mercy and her fellow actress Nollywood, Iyabo Ojo, are sworn enemies.

Some social media users have repeatedly claimed that actresses, once best friends and now sworn enemies.

Gentry posted a video of Iyabo's TikTok singing a song by veteran musician Ebenezer Obey, in which he urged people to be careful about how they act.

An IG user saw his post and left a comment suggesting that Gentry posted the video to spite Mercy as she is supposedly not friends with Iyabo.

In reply, Gentry said that Mercy and Iyabo are friends and cannot fight.
