Niyi Akinmolayan's much-anticipated film "The Prophetess" premiered in Lagos on Sunday, March 28.
The majority of the movie cast and their colleagues attended the grand event, dressed in various shades of prophet and prophetess themed attire.
Toyin Lawani, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Iyabo Ojo, celebrity stylists, wore the most dramatic gowns.
Toyin Abraham, Seyi Awolowo, Kehinde Bankole, Kunle Remi, Ronke Ojo, Tina Mba, Adedimeji Lateef, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Uzor Arukwe are among the film's cast members.
The film 'Prophetess,' produced by Victoria Akujobi, Mimi Bartels, and Matilda Sola, tells the story of Toyin, a local prophetess who makes a prediction about a football game that sets off a chain of events she cannot control.
In 2010, Akinmolayan, the founder and creative director of Anthill Productions, a media production company, released his first film, "Kajola."
Since then, he has produced or directed a number of films, including 'The Arbitration' (2017), 'The Set up' (2019), 'Elevator Baby' (2019), 'Chief Daddy' (2018), and 'The Wedding Party 2'. (2017).
