Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Alaafin of Oyo, has been praised by two of his wives, Queen Omowumi and Folashade, for his impressive gift to them.
The queens took to their personal Instagram accounts to announce that the king had built them a palace.
In her post, Queen Omowumi thanked the Alaafin and prayed to the Lord to grant him good health and a long life so that he could do more for his family.
“With greatest respect and honor, I would like to appreciate my husband, the father of my children for all He has been doing. I cannot thank him enough, he has been very supportive and I pray God Almighty grant him good health so as to be able to do more and more.”
Her post was also followed by photos of the building. According to reports, a small housewarming party was held, with the king and other guests cutting the ribbons.
In front of the new building, there was also a big sign that read Palace of Patience.
