Wumi Toriola, a Yoruba actress, is once again slamming her former colleague and friend, Seyi Edun.
Wumi posted a comment on Instagram implying that Seyi is the type of friend that abuses you in secret and then pretends as if everything is ok in public.
"They will inject you in private then act like nothing happened in public. Is her name Seyi?" Wumi wrote in a comment posted on Instagram.
Wumi and Seyi used to be best friends until Wumi started slamming her on online in 2020.
Wumi had criticized Seyi for merely celebrating her birthday online and done nothing to help her in person. She added that she not only celebrated Seyi's birthday online, but also congratulated her in person, but that Seyi did not treat her similarly on hers.
She then shared a screenshot of her WhatsApp chat with Seyi, alleging that it's ironic because in her birthday message on her social media page, Seyi called her a "beautiful soul."
Wunmi then called Seyi out again in October 2020 for failing to acknowledge her son's one-year-old birthday. She acknowledged that Seyi had sent money to her son, but she chastised her for not sending him a birthday message.
"Never extend your beef with someone, to their kids. I am from this school of thought but my exceptions to this rule is KIDS... If you see anyone who extend hate to Kids,they are Murderers,Run from them,if they have the chance,they will poison you and kill you..i said what i said and when you see them in agony of what they caused them selves,DO NOT PITY them ..i said what i said ..call the police. Good morning." Wumi wrote at the time.
Wumi went on to ridicule Seyi Edun for not having a kid, stating: "Nah so she dey do. I could remember wen her rival gave birth she no wish am kankan. You are now wondering yy she is facing the problem she is facing now. Nah oshonu she be"
"Madam shaming stop looking for pity, we left that zone long ago, i was infertile for 8months, went through proceudres, ask Seyi who told her about infertility doctor, please stop that pity game, I did IUI 2 times, it didn’t still take the passionate part of me, why extend a fight to kids, yes we have fallen out, but same kid you were rejoicing over his birth, you sent ajo on my son’s birthday, yet you refuse a birthday message as test just because you are pitted, madam stop glorifying infertility, we have ll been there, don’t lt waiting take your passion and compassion." - Wumi wrote in response to a follower's caution and request that she cease insulting Seyi Edun.
