Mbakwe, also known as John Lee in Nollywood, has died.
The actor died on July 8, just after recovering from a stroke, in Satellite Town, Lagos state.
His colleague, Emeka Okoye said: “John recently recovered from stroke only to fall ill again and, unfortunately, he didn’t make it.”
The actor was well-known not only for his film roles, but also for his appearances in television commercials.
