Some Nigerians chastised Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo for being dragged through the mud after Toyin Abraham denied that she was in competition with her senior colleague Funke Akindele or that she had a problem with her.
Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele made waves earlier this month when they announced that two films, "Ghost and the Tout Too" in theaters and "Omo Ghetto the Saga" on Netflix, will be released on September 10, 2021, on the same day.
Actress Iyabo Ojo added fuel to the fire by accusing Funke Akindele of buying a prominent movie critic to ruin Toyin Abraham's film just days after its release.
Toyin Abraham, on the other hand, denied having any beef with Funke Akindele in a recent interview, saying that the mother of two is one of the women she admires in the Nollywood industry.
Toyin Abraham describes Funke Akindele as a senior coworker whom she admires and respects, but many people confuse family, friends, and colleagues since she cannot be friends with everyone.
Netizens criticized and slammed Iyabo Ojo for creating a fight with Funke Akindele on behalf of Toyin Abraham after hearing the comments.
