2face Idibia's baby mama, Pero Adeniyi, has sued his wife Annie Idibia for defamation of character and libellous online posting against her.
This comes only hours after Annie Idibia used her Instagram account to apologize to her husband, 2Face Idibia, and everyone else she has offended.
Annie Idibia took to Instagram in early September 2021 to condemn her husband and his family for continuing to have a sexual relationship with his babymama, Pero Adeniyi, despite the fact that they were legally married to their son.
According to a legal document shared by Instagram blogger Gistlovers, Pero Adeniyi filed a petition to Annie Idibai, demanding an apology and compensation of 500 million Naira for the personal emotional distress, damages, embarrassment, shame, and emotional distress she suffered as a result of malicious and defamatory publication against her.
Pero Adeniyi's lawyers, Okonjo Odiawa & Ebi, described Annie Idibia's Instagram outburst as malicious, disparaging, and false material of a defamatory nature to Pero Adeniyi, which subjected her to online bullying, in a petition filed on her behalf.
Pero Adeniyi also wanted a 72-hour retraction of Annie's charges on all of her Instagram sites, as well as N500 million in compensation for reputation damage.
