Aliko Dangote Recounts How His Brother, Sani, Died Says ''He died in front of me and our mother''

Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, has described how his younger brother, Sani Dangote, died.

After a long fight with cancer, the deceased, who was the Vice President of Dangote Groups, died on November 14 in the United States.

While greeting Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at his Kano residence today November 19, Dangote claimed he, his mother, and Sani's children were by his bedside when he died. According to the businessman, it was far more traumatic for them when the doctors told them his brother had only an hour left before he died.

“It was painful because he died in front of me, our mother and children,” he said.

He said he was personally broken when he watched his brother's life leave his body through medical machines.

“The visit will help us to reduce the pain especially for myself because we grew together. It was painful when they tell us he was going to die in few hours and we had to watch him take his last breath,” he said.

Sani Dangote was laid to rest on November 17th.
