Nigerians are at odds with certain Yoruba Nollywood actors after they announced the death of Babatunde Omidina, also known as Baba Suwe, on their social media sites.
Even though there had been death rumors before his death, the experienced actor ultimately met his awful end after battling for his life for several months.
His admission to Lagos Teaching Hospital was facilitated by the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) with the help of the Federal Ministry of Health, according to reports, before he was flown out for further medical treatment.
Remember that the comic actor and producer who ruled the Yoruba film business for decades died on November 22nd after a long fight with an undisclosed illness.
While he was ill, some of his colleagues wished him well and prayed for his recovery. Even though it wasn't published on social media, they threw him a surprise birthday celebration, and some may have shown serious concern.
Nigerians, on the other hand, have slammed Yoruba stars like Murphy Afolabi, Odunlade Adekola, and others for posting tributes to the late actor on their social media sites. Even yet, they were unable to contact him while he was still alive.
