Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, a 102-yr-old Nigerian woman, has declared her intention to run for president in 2023.
During a courtesy visit to the NTAuthority's management team, Ezeanyaeche expressed her intention. During d tour, she declared her willingness to run for Nigeria President in 2023.
The centenarian, also known as "Mama Africa" or "living legend," is from Aguata, Anambra state, and is the founder of d "Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria" organisation.
Caro Nwosu, d group's president, was reported by Sahara Reporters as stating
"If Nigerians r hesitant to participate in politics, she says she is willing to run." She's already written herself a manifesto. She is a visionary. If d good ones don't show up for d competition..."
"If u have a male or female kid, strive to train them to surpass ur own achievements," Ezeanyaeche stated in Igbo, acknowledging Nwosu's comments.
