Ozioma Helen Michael (Ada Uburu), a Nigerian lady, has called off her wedding due to domestic abuse.

The church and traditional wedding ceremonies were set to take place in Amenu Uburu, Ebonyi State, on Saturday, April 16, 2022.

Ozioma said she canceled the wedding because her fiancé, David Okike, allegedly abused her and threatened to murder her in a post on her Facebook page on Wednesday, April 13.

Ozioma claimed that he began abusing her shortly after she paid her bride price and that she had been tolerating the toxic relationship for almost a year in the hopes that he would change.

She also expressed regret to her friends and family for any trouble caused by the cancellation. Read on to learn more
