Lateef Adedimeji Film "Ayinla" Wins A Major Award At The Pan African Film Festival

The film Ayinla, directed by veteran director Tunde Kelani, received the Best African Narrative Feature award at the 2022 Pan African Film Festival.

In an Instagram post published today, Kelani praised everyone who contributed to the film's success.

After being brutally hurt in a scuffle at a beer parlor, the musician died at the age of 47 in his hometown of Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Kelani and Jade Osiberu's Greoh Studios co-produced his biopic, which was released on June 18, 2021. Lateef Adedimeji, a well-known actor, played Ayinla in the film.

Other notable characters in Ayinla include Mr Macaroni, Omawunmi Dada, Bimbo Manuel, Bimbo Ademoye, and Ade Laoye.
