Musiliu Akinsanya, well known as MC Oluomo, the former chairman of NURTW, has revealed the best inheritance he has left to his children.
The best legacy parents can leave their children, in MC Oluomo's opinion, is a few minutes of their times each day.
MC Oluomo shares a video on Instagram with two of his children who are studying in the US, saying that his time with them is the best inheritance he has ever given them.
He wrote;
“Children are not casual guests in our home. They have been loaned to us temporarily to love them and instill a foundation of values on which their future lives will be built. The best inheritance a parent can give his children is a few minutes of his time each day. My daughters Adijat Amoke Akinsanya and Balikis Amope Akinsanya came home for a holiday from the United State of America and I took them back to the United State of America to continue with their future endeavors and also to attend my daughter’s graduation in the United States of America”.
Having graduated with honors from Albany State University, Adijat Akinsanya chose psychology as her major.
Her father posted on Instagram to acknowledge his daughter's achievement
MC Oluomo said, “Alhamdulilah. Your life is your story, and the adventure ahead of you is the journey to fulfilling your purpose and potential. My daughter, Adijat Amoke Akinsanya, is a proud graduate of Albany State University. She bagged a major in Psychology. I am indeed happy and proud as a father. I am also grateful to God for the completion of her higher education. May we all enjoy the fruit of our labor and may Almighty Allah keep guiding our children. Amin. Congratulations again my darling daughter, Adijat Amoke Akinsanya
