Following the conflict that occurred between them during the Osun gubernatorial election months ago, music artist Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has pleaded for Davido's forgiveness.
Davido supported his uncle Ademola Adeleke, who ultimately won the election, while Portable supported Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Portable had criticized Davido at the time for unfollowing him on Instagram because of his support for Oyetola.
He said;
“Once again, my father is not a rich man. I come from the trenches but managed to bring my family into wealth. So support those who support you. They wasted no time in unfollowing us,” he had said.
Portable recently apologized on Instagram and begged Davido's pardon.
He said;
“Accept your pass without regrets handle your present with confidence face your future without fear…Akoi apologies to @davido. We no get any issue. Akoi loyalty. Won ti settle eh,” he wrote.
