IYABO OJO PAYS VISIT TO HER MUM'S TOMB IN HONOR OF HER 71ST POSTHUMOUS BIRTHDAY (PICTURES AND VIDEO)

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo created a special way to honor her mother on her posthumous birthday.

Mrs. Victoria Olubunmi Fetuga, Iyabo Ojo's adored mother, passed away in the early hours of November 21, 2020.

Iyabo Ojo posted a heartfelt homage to her mother on her Instagram page after informing her fans of the terrible news.

She wrote;

” My mother,my jewel,my guardian,my pearl…this is how you said goodbye?…we were joking about this days ago..I told you how much I want you to live long and watch the children become grown men and women but you said no..your joy was that I am happy..that your spirit would protect and be with us.

Iyabo Ojo and her friends paid a visit to her mother's tomb.

She expressed how much she misses her mother, calling her an angel of guidance.

“Happy Posthumous birthday my darling mom. My guiding angel, words can’t describe how much I miss you. Keep watching us as you’ve always done when you were with us. Rest well Mummy, Love you with all of me. With love. Your darling daughter & family”.

Iyabo Ojo, an actress and single mother of two, rented out Lekki Lagos for a lavish celebration on Sunday, November 21, 2021, to remember her mother.

The celebration was attended by the crème de la crème of society, including A-list celebrities and well-known men and women. Indeed, it was a town party.

According to City People, the actress spent millions of Naira during her mother's memorial celebration.

The elegant and exclusive monarch Event Center served as the venue for the celebration. The hall has a wide variety of parking spaces, is adequately secured, and is elegantly furnished. It also has an uninterrupted power supply and air conditioning. One of Lagos' most costly event venues, if not the most expensive, it can hold 1000 guests and has very elegant interior decor.

There were more than 30 food and beverage vendors ready to serve the customers. Guests might choose from a variety of foods, both regional and international. In addition to food and beverages, the event featured barbecues, mini chops, and a variety of finger foods. The exotic and pricey wines and champagne were handled by Fespris bar; there was more than enough food and drink for everyone.

Even though kwam 1 was the party's official artist, three other musicians kept the crowd engaged. Samson Egbeyemi delighted the audience before kwam 1 took the stage. Before Kwam 1 eventually took control for the evening, the highly acclaimed gospel artist Lanre Teriba aka Atorishe later joined the guests on stage and thrilled them.

Iyabo Ojo's mother's funeral wake was attended by celebrities like Yinka Quadri, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe, Anita Joseph, Blessing CEO, Toyin Lawani, Peggy Ovire, and others.
