The princess Tonya Lawani, who was born in Edo, is supposedly the Elegushi of Ikateland, HRM Oba Saheed Elegushi's, choice for a new wife.
Olori Hadiza Elegushi succeeded the monarch's first wife, Queen Sekinat Elegushi, as the second queen in the palace a little more than three years ago.
The incoming Olori, Tonya Lawani, is said to be a wealthy woman who not only manages the SEAL Group, one of Nigeria's fastest-growing conglomerates but also has ties to Lagos Big Babes. Tonya Lawani already has a son from a previous marriage.
Tonya, who is a landlord on Banana Island in Lagos with pleasure, is apparently currently expecting the royal kid and will give birth to him or her shortly.
It's fascinating to observe that Tonya and the king's relationship wasn't always this way.
