With the use of a vintage picture, actress Funke Akindele paid tribute to the late Rachel Oniga.
The 45-year-old shared pictures of herself, Rachel, Kate Henshaw, Joke Silva, and Falz on the set of Chief Daddy 2 on Instagram on Thursday.

“Keep resting aunty Rachel.”
On July 30, 2021, Friday, Rachel Oniga passed away. Her age was 64.
The actress was born in Ebute Metta, Lagos State, on May 23, 1957. 1993, not long after her divorce, was when she began her acting career.
When Rachel fell unwell, it was reportedly due to Covid problems, she was on the set of the movie A Naija Christmas by director Kunle Afolayan.
Production was momentarily halted in her memory after she passed away from her sickness. Later, she received a dedication to the film.
On August 27, 2021, she was buried in Lagos.
