"MY CHILDREN FORCED ME TO STAY" MADAM SAJE SPEAKS ON THE CHALLENGES IN POLYGAMY FAMILY (DETAILS)

Actress Madam Saje from Nollywood has shared advice on how to have a happy marriage.

In a live Instagram chat, 66-year-old Madam Saje, who is married to one of her coworkers, Alhaji Rafiu Balogun, explained why she chose to stay even after her husband took a second wife on behalf of their children.

She said;

"Most married women remain in their marriages for the benefit of their kids, not because of their husbands, as all men are the same. A simple explanation for why leaving your children will cause them to suffer is that another wife will treat them badly. I personally am incapable of even a brief absence from my kids. In addition to my second wife, I raised my husband's two wives' children. This is because you shouldn't be breeding hatred for yourself because life is too short.

She further claims that;

"These aspects have kept my marriage strong among others, I've been married since I was 18 years old".
