On Monday, September 26th, 2022, Olori Mariam Ogunwusi, the new bride of Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, attracted attention while dancing with Sir Shina Peters.

According to sources, the queen displayed a different side of herself during the Ife Kingdom's annual cultural dance competition on the mentioned date.

The Olori appeared on stage to compete in the dance-off by dancing with Sir Sina Peters, a legendary musician.

The Queen was surrounded by people as she performed dancing moves fit for a queen to entertain the crowd.

It was previously reported that Ooni and Mariam, his wife, that a few weeks ago, made their first public appearance together.

For the yearly Olojo Festival in Ile-Ife, Osun State, the couple went out on Saturday dressed entirely in white. As various groups paid respects to the Ooni, Mariam Anakao, the new Yeyeluwa of Ife, could be seen conversing with the monarch the entire time.

The interior minister, Rauf Aregbesola, and the deputy governor of Osun State, Benedict Alabi, among others, were also in attendance.

On September 6, the oil and gas executive who would become the future queen entered the palace.

Mariam is a native of the Kogi State Ebira ethnic group. She is employed at Nestoil Limited, an oil and gas industry engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning firm.
