One of the sisters of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusu, the Ooni of Ife, Princess Adesola Ogunwusi Shoremekun, graciously welcomed her new sister-in-law after she was recognized as Ife's Queen.
Ooni's marriage to Mariam Anako, an Ebira native from Kogi state, was eventually celebrated in Ife.
In an online post, Princess Adesola congratulated her brother on his marriage. She exclaimed that his new wife was welcome to join their family and gave her a warm welcome.
She wrote:
"Congratulations to baami Oonirisa and the entire Ogunwusi’s dynasty. Olori Mariam Ogunwusi you are welcome to our family."
