ELECTION 2023: TOYIN ABRAHAM TACKLES TINUBU'S CRITICS AS NIGERIANS BRUTALLY DRAGS HER AND JOKE SILVA

Toyin Abraham, a popular Nollywood actress, and filmmaker have hurt the feelings of many Nigerians, including many of her fans.

Several celebrities have already set up camp with various political parties as Nigerians get ready for the 2023 general election.

The actor Kolawole Ajeyemi's wife received harsh criticism for joining the Tinubu meme.

In order to demonstrate that he is physically fit, strong, and qualified to lead the nation, the APC presidential candidate uploaded a video of himself exercising on a fitness bike.

Toyin Abraham asked Nigerians in a since-deleted post what else they needed to show that the presidential candidate wouldn't pass away soon while posting a picture on her Instagram profile.

Toyin, though, made it plain that she wasn't endorsing any particular politician and was simply jumping on a hot topic.

She continued by stating that she was a responsible citizen who has the right to vote and PVC.

She wrote:

“What else does Tinubu need to do to prove that the is not dying today? I am not campaigning for any candidate, just jumping on trending topic. I am just a responsible citizen with PVC and power to choose who to vote for”.

Sadly for her, Nigerians thought her joke was too expensive and attacked her aggressively. Many people threatened to stop buying her movies.

This comes after Nigerians voiced displeasure with some of their favorite Nollywood actors for supporting Tinubu the day prior.

There was a stir online as a list of the Tinubu/Shettima women's presidential campaign team surfaced.

Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Fausat Balogun, Bahama Sadau, and other famous Nollywood actresses made the list.

33 Nollywood and Kannywood stars were named under the Creative and Entertainment Category in the 70-page campaign blueprint.

Among them were Princess Kalihat Bello, Fausat Balogun, Rahama Sadau, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero), Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), and legendary actor Joke Silva, who leads the group.
