The ALL Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu was supported by Nollywood actress Joke Silva and Foluke Daramola Salako at the Lagos Women Support Walk.
Women from various areas of Lagos State took part in a solidarity march in favor of Tinubu, Shettima, Sanwo Olu, and Hamzat, who are contesting for governor and deputy governor of Lagos State, respectively.
The support walk is still going on in Lagos State's Tinubu Square.
Online videos showing women walking with banners on the streets include professional women, market women, market traders, artists, and celebrities.
Since the list of celebrities leading Tinubu's protest made its way online a few days ago, we are confident that more celebrities will participate in the solidarity march.
Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Fausat Balogun, Bahama Sadau, and other famous Nollywood actresses made the list.
33 Nollywood and Kannywood stars were named under the Creative and Entertainment Category in the 70-page campaign blueprint.
Joke Silva, a veteran actor who leads the group, is one of them. Others include Fausat Balogun, Rahama Sadau, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero), Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), and Princess Kalihat Bello.
