SEUN EGBEGBE EXPLAINS HIS NEXT PROJECT AFTER BEING RELEASED FROM IKOYI'S PRISON AFTER SERVING 6 YEARS (VIDEO)

Seun Egbegbe, a popular filmmaker and award-winning producer, has revealed his next project following his release from prison after serving 6 years.

Seun Egbegbe is a well-known filmmaker in the Yoruba sector of the Nollywood industry. On February 10, 2017, he was arrested for alleged fraud.

However, a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, found Mr Seun Egbegbe guilty of only one of the 44 counts against him and released him about two weeks ago.

In an interview with BBC Yoruba, Seun Egbegbe stated that he was not involved in any fraud but was grateful to God almighty for the experience he had in prison because he has now become a born-again Christian.

Many of his friends abandoned him while he was in prison, leaving him to his fate.

He revealed that his next project is to establish a foundation to meet the needs of prisoners across the country because he understands their situation and the challenges they face as a result of his time at Ikoyi Maximum Prison.
