On October 11, during the National Accolades Ceremony in Abuja, some famous Nigerians who have made a name for themselves in various industries received awards.
Senate President Ahmed Lawan, the Ooni of Ife HRM Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Olu of Warri HRM Ogiame Atuwatse III, the State Chief of Protocol Amb. Lawal Kazaure, the CEO of EbonyLife Mo Abudu, the Special Adviser on Media & Publicity Mr. Femi Adesina, the SA Presidential Matters Sabiu Tunde, and (Imam who saved 300 Christians in Plateau State).
Olu of Warri and Ooni of Ife received the honorary title of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic, while Lawan received the distinction of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) (CFR).
Imam Abubakar, Adesina, and Kazaure received the honorary title of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR), respectively (OON).
