"A KING BLINDED ME FOR ALLEGEDLY DANCING WITH HIS QUEEN" WASIU ODUWOLE, PEPPER SOUP CHEF (DETAILS)

Wasiu Oduwole, a male graduate, has shared his story of becoming blind after a king attacked him for allegedly dancing with his queen in Ogun State.

During an interview with Punch News, Oduwole described how the king caused his eye to fall out of its socket as he apologized for the misunderstanding.

Wasiu explains how the incident happened

He said:

"I am a pepper soup chef, and my godfather hired me on September 20, 2022, to cook for party guests at a hotel in Sagamu, Ogun State." However, there was a complaint that the soup was insufficient, so I went to the hotel bar to apologize to the celebrant and her husband. When I arrived at the bar, I ran into the celebrants, who were talking with an unknown woman (the queen). During our conversation, I praised the elderly lady for knowing the lyrics to the song that was playing and for her dancing ability despite her age.

He also stated that:

"The king approached us and questioned about my identity, but I introduced myself." After that, the king stormed out. I explained to the celebrant's husband that I was not dancing with his wife, and he took me to beg the king. Unfortunately, the king kicked my eye out as I tried to apologize by prostrating before him. The eye immediately popped out of its socket. Doctors have since informed me that the eye is blind. My condition has caused me pain. I did not perform a dance with the queen.
