Nwafor Rachel, the teenage daughter of actress Regina Chukwu, has opened up about what it's like to be raised solely by a single mother.
Rachel recently praised Regina on Instagram for always being there for her, even in her darkest moments of tears, confusion, and refusal to accept help.
She wrote:
“My toxic trait is not wanting help from anyone even my family, I don’t know why I’m like that most of the most times, but to be very honest, my mom has been my support system even when I feel like it is my problem (I can solve it as per big girl now)".
She further stated that:
"With so much support and encouragement and I end up crying myself out like is this not too much for just me? I’m really grateful to have someone like you as my mother even when I don’t deserve it.”
Recognizing her daughter's post, Regina Chukwu proudly reposted the post on her Instagram page, thanking God for giving her the grace to be a great mother to her children.
She wrote:
“When your child writes this abt you, then THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS. I am most grateful to God for giving me this grace. A single mother who single-handedly raised 2 kids into adulthood. Grace is all I see. REGINA YOU ARE DOING WELL!n@nwaforracheal_ mommy gat you always my baby girl turned big girl”
