"WORST FILM" NIGERIANS REACTS ON ODUNLADE ADEKOLA'S ROLE ON ELESIN OBA'S MOVIE

Some fans of Nigerian actor Odunlade Adekola have complained about the recently released Netflix film "Elesin Oba"

Elesin Oba was directed by the late Biyi Bandele, who died in August, and is a screen adaptation of Wole Soyinka's Death and the King's Horseman.

The film is based on the true story of a King's horseman (Odunlade Adekola), who is required by tradition to lay down his life to ensure the deceased King's safe passage into the afterlife.

Odunlade Adekola took to Instagram to share an Elesin Oba banner, congratulating the entire cast.

He wrote:

"@naijaonnetflix When I tell you they ate up their roles! #TheKingsHorseman"

In response to his post, some of his fans took to the comments section to give negative reviews about the film, while others praised him for interpreting his role well despite the fact that the film is incredibly boring.
