"SHE WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM ME, SHE WAS MY ONLY CHILD" LATE BOLANLE RAHEEM'S MUM CRIES OUT

The mother of late lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, who was horrifically killed on Christmas day, December 25, has expressed her grief over the loss of her only child.

The helpless mother expressed her grief to Lagos Police Commissioner Abiodun Alabi during a condolence visit to her home on Tuesday, December 27.

Raheem's mother stated that she hawked oranges to ensure that she studied law at university.

She said:

'I will never see my 'The Law' again. 'The Law,' as she is popularly called. She had been taken from me. She was expecting twins. She died in the midst of her glory. She left behind a five-year-old daughter. They also took her away.

On Monday, my granddaughter approached me and said, 'Grandma Iju Ishaga, I saw you crying yesterday; you were shouting; is it because of my mummy?' 'Yes,' I said.

'Pastor Jerry said what God cannot do does not exist; so, grandma, stop crying,' she said again. She also kissed me on the cheek.

She was taken from me in an instant. Oluwagbenga (the deceased's husband), you will not see your love. It is not simple. A child I've been training since I was a child. I suffered because of her. I sold oranges and did everything else.

She said:

Please, God, fight for me. "My only child,"
