Davido paid Chioma's bride price to the Umunna group in Owerre, Nkworji Ezealu Odu, Imo state
Chioma's father was seen performing Umunna and Umuada rites in photos posted online.
The Umunna rites, which take place between the groom's family and the bride's extended family, are the second stage of an Igbo wedding.
This meeting is more important because the groom's family must acknowledge their intention to marry in the presence of the bride-to-Umunna. is (direct and extended family, with family elders).
When approval is granted, the dates for the traditional wedding will be set, and the bride's price list will be distributed.
The groom brings a few gifts, including kola nuts, palm wine, beer, soft drinks, tobacco, snuff, and a goat to be shared by the groom and bride's families.
