Adegoke murder Case: Osun Court sentences Dr Rahman Adedoyin to death by hanging

 

In a significant development, Dr. Rahman Adedoyin, the owner of Hilton Hotel in Ile-Ife, has been sentenced to death by hanging by the Chief Judge of Osun State, Justice Oyebola Ojo. This verdict comes in relation to the infamous Adegoke murder case. During the proceedings, Justice Ojo unequivocally declared Adedoyin's culpability in the murder of Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU). 

The incident occurred at Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ife, owned by Adedoyin.As the judgment continues, Justice Ojo emphasized that, as per the evidence presented by the prosecuting counsel, Femi Falana, SAN, the hotel owner and two of his employees are proven to be guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and the unlawful killing of the deceased. This ruling holds them responsible for their actions in light of the circumstances surrounding the case.
