The Nigerian film industry has lost another veteran actor, Prince Adewale Adeyemo, popularly known as Baba Igbomina. He died on Monday morning, May 22, 2023, after a brief illness,His death was confirmed by his colleague, Kunle Afod, who took to Instagram to share a photo of the late actor and wrote:
"Hmm God u know best RIP Prince Ademola Adeyemo. He passed on early hour of today after a brief illness… God will comfort all his family friends & colleagues."
Adeyemo was known for his roles in Yoruba movies and was also a producer. He had undergone a successful surgery in 2021 after being diagnosed with lung, liver, and kidney damage. He was also appointed as the Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism to the Kwara State Governor in 2019 He is survived by his wife and children.
