In a touching display of love and support, fans have initiated a GoFundMe campaign for the wife and 5-month-old son of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, who tragically passed away.
This compassionate endeavor by fans aims to offer assistance and care to the immediate family left behind by the singer following his untimely demise.
Mohbad, who left this world on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, was laid to rest on September 13, 2023, in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Since his tragic passing, his 24-year-old wife, Omowunmi, has expressed deep grief and sorrow. Through a series of Instagram posts, she has shared her heartache, particularly concerning how she will provide for their 5-month-old son, who recently celebrated his birthday.
During her moments of despair, Omowunmi also posted nostalgic photos that depicted their ten-year journey together as a couple.
Additionally, there is a circulating video showing Mohbad's relatives apparently discussing the distribution of his assets with his wife at the burial site, raising concerns about property matters during this challenging period.
In response to the family's plight, music executive Samklef, on behalf of the fans, has established a GoFundMe account. The account is linked to a GTB (Guaranty Trust Bank) account with the number 0860854547, under the name Aloba Liam Eyinimofeoluwa, which is the name of Mohbad's son.
