Singer Mohbad's childhood friend, who faced accusations of involvement in the singer's death, has defended himself against the allegations. Some individuals had accused him of using a ring to harm Mohbad, ultimately leading to his demise. However, in a statement posted on his Instagram page, the young man refuted these claims, emphasizing that Mohbad was his longtime friend and he had no motive to harm him. He explained that Mohbad had called him to meet up last Sunday, and they were in different locations at the time.
The childhood friend shared that there was no altercation between them on that Sunday, denying any involvement in Mohbad's death. He stressed the deep friendship they shared and how Mohbad had introduced him to numerous people in the music industry, including Bella Shmurda, who gifted him a valuable gold necklace. He expressed confusion and sadness over the accusations that he had a hand in his friend's death.
Regarding the events of Sunday, September 10, the friend mentioned that both he and Mohbad had performed on stage together, but Mohbad was heavily intoxicated that day. Afterward, Mohbad sat in a car with his wife, and although the friend did not know what transpired, he noted that Mohbad was agitated and expressed a desire to leave the car.
