Sam Larry, a prominent figure in Lagos social circles, has addressed the accusations linking him to the untimely death of Mohbad.
The allegations gained momentum after several videos circulated online, allegedly showing Mohbad being subjected to harassment by Sam Larry, a close associate of Naira Marley, who had previously signed Mohbad under his Marlian Music label.
Mohbad's departure from Marlian Music was marked by internal disputes and allegations of mistreatment.
In a video statement, Sam Larry declared Mohbad as his brother and vehemently refuted any involvement in the singer's demise. He asserted that he never assaulted Mohbad and claimed that the viral videos were dated. However, it's worth noting that just three months ago, Mohbad had lodged a formal complaint with the Nigerian police, alleging threats to his life by Sam Larry.
Sam Larry's denial comes in the midst of mounting tensions and questions surrounding the circumstances leading to Mohbad's tragic passing.
