Sam Larry Has Finally Been Arrest By Lagos State Police

The Nigeria Police, Lagos State command has taken socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, into custody as part of an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. This development was confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, during a late Thursday night telephone interview, where he stated that Sam Larry is assisting with the ongoing investigation.


In related news, Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, issued an official statement denying any involvement, direct or indirect, in Mohbad's death. Naira Marley stated that he left the country on August 31, at least 12 days before Mohbad's passing. He expressed shock over the death of Mohbad, whom he considered a brother and a member of their music family. Naira Marley categorically asserted that he had no hand in the death and mentioned that their disagreements were being resolved legally before the tragic incident.


Naira Marley emphasized his willingness to cooperate with the police investigation and clear his name. He also refuted rumors of his label, Marlian Music, being associated with a drug cartel or any cult, stating that the label focuses on nurturing talent and breaking new acts. He clarified that neither he nor any of his artists had ever fought or mistreated Mohbad.
