Scores Flee in Panic as Police Unleash Tear Gas at Mohbad's Candlelight Procession

During the candlelight procession and memorial concert for Mohbad in Lagos, attendees were reportedly dispersed by the police using tear gas. The event began earlier in the evening at Lekki Phase 1 and continued with a memorial concert at Muri Okunola Park in Victoria Island. However, by 11 PM, participants in the Lekki procession claimed on social media that they were teargased by the police, resulting in scenes of people running amid the rising tear gas smoke.
