Prominent Ibadan-based pastor and philanthropist, Gabriel Agbala, swiftly raised over 500,000 Naira in just 30 minutes to support veteran actor Mukalia Lateef, popularly known as Adisa Mafipara.
Adisa Mafipara had recently become the subject of a viral video, where he was seen shedding tears while grappling with partial blindness and experiencing a partial stroke.
In response to his plea for help, Pastor Gabriel extended an invitation to the actor, organized a live broadcast, and initiated a fundraising campaign on his behalf.
During the live broadcast on social media, the pastor successfully raised over 500,000 Naira within half an hour, thanks to contributions from individuals across the country who united to support the ailing actor during his time of need.
Adisa Mafipara is renowned for his roles alongside late legends like Baba Suwe, Yemi My Lover, and Opebe. He is currently facing the challenges of partial blindness and a partial stroke.
In the viral video, veteran actor Opebe was also seen offering comfort and support to Adisa.
