In a disappointing turn of events, Nigeria's hopes were dashed as the Super Eagles suffered a 2-1 loss to Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations final on Sunday, February 11. The defeat left many Nigerians disheartened, as they had anticipated victory.
Reacting to the loss, popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo expressed her sadness and disappointment. However, she found solace in Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali's performance, dubbing him her hero for the night.
Taking to social media, Ojo issued a warning to those around her, stating that she would don her black bonnet for the next three days if anyone dared to upset her. In her post, she wrote, "My hero tonight...... 💚 @nwabali32 But i still dey sad make nobody vex me for the next 3 days.unless i go wear my black bonnet 😡ðŸ˜ðŸ˜¢ 🇳🇬"
